We all went up to Denver for Thanksgiving break. We were hoping for snow but it never happened. Ed has been on a project in Denver and has seen some snow the weeks he has been there.
We flew out on thanksgiving morning and than made the trip to Colorado Springs to have dinner with my aunt, uncle and family (on the Wasoba side). So the kids had lots of fun in the backseat making videos and taking pictures. I have to add those from the computer.

Firecracker
Mackenzie worked most of the summer with Firecracker. She really liked getting him used to her and making him listen.
End of School Year 2012
5th grade promotion ceremony
A few pictures from the last day of school. Mackenzie had a promotion ceremony followed by a picnic lunch at NW Park. The boys both had a great last day of school followed by the annual pool party. It was a really great year for all of them.

Pet rock station
tie dye cake
tie dye shirts
Birthday boy at school
While he was sleeping Mackenzie put up some decorations. So he woke up on his birthday to that.Ryan turned 6 on the 19th. We had a groovy 6's (like the groovy 60's) party...we made pet rocks, tie dye shirts with sharpies and had tie dye cake. The kids had a blast running around the backyard and doing all the activities. It was a wild bunch!
Ryan said it was "the most awesomest, bestest, goodest, party he has ever had". I am so glad he had a great time.

Sean's well check
Mackenzie's well check
Mackenzie recently went for her 11 yr well check and we learned she had grown 4 1/2 inches since last year. I knew she had some growth spurts but wow...4 1/2 inches. She is now in the 95% for height (thanks to her dad) and 75% for weight. She loves her new room and she really liked getting to pick the colors and tiles for her room and bathroom. She had a jumpoline birthday party and 2 friends stayed the night. Lucky for me they only stayed up till 12:30. Though they did get up at 6am and I took them to krispy kreme for donuts. She is excited about moving on to middle school next year. I still can't believe it! Time sure has flown by.
